so excited to have run 9 pain free (itb) miles this morning! my fam hit the trail with me; they rode their bikes while i ran. this time we tried out the forsyth big creek greenway. i.loved.it.
it was a dreary day, windy, temps in the low 40's and the air was d.a.m.p. but nonetheless, it was beautiful running free among His creation. funny how in the dead of winter i still see so much life and beauty. i love that part of running. seeing itALL. made by Him. for me to enjoy.
the trail was a mix of concrete and boardwalk. let me just tell you i loved that boardwalk part!!! it felt great! i had planned to only go 6 but somehow it turned into 9 before i knew it. the best part of it all - no ITB pain. thank you God!i am enjoying my new little camera so much for these runs. i have video from this path that i may put up later. i was hoping to see some animals but i'm glad i didn't after seeing this sign.
