running when you are mad or upset is soooo awesome - it did wonders to my pace for 4 miles. some ladies that don't know me said some not so nice things about my daughter and family last night at her basketball game. yes, it hurt. and it's bound to happen. in sports and life. just wish it wasn't this early.
i got it all out today.
gave it to God.
i'm over it.
it's hard to turn the other cheek and show kindness. but the right thing to do. i must do.
and thank you to the much older male running on the opposite sidewalk. i've seen you from time to time. you are fast. you pushed me beyond what i knew i had!

Ugh! I'm sorry. Why do people have to be so mean?!
You're so right - running is perfect for those times!
That's hard, but I know what you mean about running those 4 miles faster. Hope the whole situation feels even better soon!
((hugs)) to you sweet Kate. I'm glad you have let it go and are leaving it with God. Don't let yourself think on it too much. As I always say "don't let them rent space in your head" Take it from someone who knows! the mind is the enemy's battle ground. He uses the thoughtless, hurtful words of other to knock us down. As James says "the tongue is a fire." Only let these words be used to burn away the flesh and bring you to a greater level of His likeness. I'm sorry it happened but it sounds like you are moving in the right direction.
God will bless your sweet attitude toward those who hurt you. Yes, things like that will happen and God is more interested in how we respond and share Christ's love even if it is through yucky circumstances. Glad you had such a great run!.
I'm sorry, but what? Someone said something ugly about that little bitty sweet thing? People!
Good for you taking it out on your run. Everybody wins that way. It wouldn't have made you feel better to confront her. Well, maybe immediately, but you would have felt badly later. 'Cause, you were raised right AND you have a HEART for others.
***Hugs***
Running is great for so many reasons, this being one of them. Sorry you had to experience such mean comments about your family. You have a great approach to it all.
