now what?!

monday - it was a perfect spring morning; 60 something degrees when i left and a little humid but bright and sunny! i headed towards a park with a pebble gravel hilly trail and just ran. didn't know how much i was going to run, but ended at 7 miles. mostly because i had no water and i was hot! it was 69 when i came home with a real feel of 80 and i had on a black long sleeve! getting heat acclimated for sure!

tuesday - 5 miles with tons of fartleks - so much fun with perfect weather!

wednesday - 4 miles in 35 minutes. that's what i had to work with before taking my son to class! tempo run to the max (for turtle me!).

thursday - my man took me last night to get a camelback! i ended up getting a 70 oz one since i'll want to go long and far on a trail. today, i went to a real trail with my 13yo daughter and ran 5 miles. i used the camelback and filled it with 56 oz of water. it wasn't heavy at all. i'll probably never wear my water belt again since it was that comfy. my daughter used my water belt. i'll save it for the kids to use. it was warm and challenging but oh my, so. much. FUN!!

i thought i ran 9 miles friday, it was my plan, but with crazy life, it never happened. and no time to on sat. so it's been a good week to take it easy and ramp up after the 2 marathons, even though my goal was 30 miles. i need to get something on the calendar asap. it helps me stay motivated, on track, and there's just nothing like having a running goal in sight!
