Running On

monday - i was still sore and very tired from the weekend. i got a two hour nap in the afternoon - a rare but oh so needed moment! it helped a ton. i went for a 4 mile run at dusk. was planning to do more of a half run half walk. but... i took off like a rocket when i started to run and it felt so good! my man reminded me i was back on "flat ground"!

tuesday - an easy pace 4 mile run. it was dusk again and my younger son came the last mile on the bike with me. i'm in denial that the time change is just around the corner. boo. :(

thursday -5 miles with some fartleks

friday - 10 mile marathon pace run on the greenway. finished in the time i wanted to. great training run. only drank 16oz of water and 1 gel.

saturday - 4 miles; felt very tired (maybe because we didn't get home from my son's away football game until 1:15am last night!)

i'm probably running a marathon this weekend. there's one about an hour away and this is the first year they tacked on a full to the traditional half they've been having for many years now. so since i'm ready, i'll probably go for it.

I like that CS Lewis quote in your header! I may run a lil' old 5K, not sure yet either. Have fun at the "Maybe" marathon!
