i don't mean my running times are perfect! actually, getting new shoes, for FREE is perfect timing! i have NO money for new shoes at the moment. and i should take a picture of the bottoms to show just how worn they are. no holes yet! but i've been complaining about them for some time now. well, saturday we had two soccer parties to attend. my man was a head coach for two of my kiddies teams and asst. coach for another. he received two gift cards to a sports store. and when we got home, he handed them to me and said it would make him so much happier if i used them. and he meant it! so, i jumped for joy and ordered my shoes. and a pair of shorts! wooo-hooo! so excited to get them. i just got the same ones i have now except in pink this time - last years models were reduced by 35 dollars. nice!
i ran 3 tempo miles yesterday at the gym and wore my old shoes. they seemed to do the job for a quick run. then, i did some upper body weights and headed home. today, i ran 4 outside. saw 6 cute little white tailed bunnies running as fast as they could away from me - such cuteness!

(i also have to note: i said 'aaaaahhh' when i clicked over and saw my favorite bridge in the header again. makes me smile.)
