i love braids. i can braid my girls hair, but have not been able to french braid it good. a sweet girl at church on a whim braided my hair sunday night in the parking lot when i mentioned how i tried to braid my hair saturday for my long run. no comb or brush; she just parted it with a pen cap and was done in 4 minutes. she has 6 sisters and braids there hair so beautifully.i kept the braids in until this morning! i ran 3 miles on the treadmill at the gym last night and my head felt so cool! finally! every time i see her, she is going to braid my hair. if only we lived closer i would have her do it friday night or sat. mornings before my long runs! it made a world of difference to have that hair off my neck!
tonight, i hit the gym again. scorching days like these make me so thankful to belong to a small gym. i ran 5 miles on the treadmill. my legs were a little tired since i did leg weights last night. it was so good to be hitting the weights again. i missed two weeks and can tell by how tired my legs were last night. i played around with the bosu balance ball. all i can say about that is wow! my legs were shaking. and i tried doing situps with that - i love that thing!

You have the prettiest hair, Kate.
So cute. I wish I could braid like that too. I really need to learn. My girls have such pretty hair.
Love the braids on you! My mum used to braid our hair all the time.

i use that balance ball at the Y - M calls it the flyin saucer - it can really work those abs!
