week 15, here i come...

to conquer and defeat you!
i had a terrible pain yesterday, way deep in my lower right back area. it was so annoying. i was starting to feel down about it. i had some friends tell me they were praying for me which was so comforting. i also chatted with the physical therapist who helps out my son's football team last night. he thinks the pain was from the work the massage therapist did to that Iliopsoas/hip area that had been bothering me. and the fact my back was hurting was a good sign that he tackled that area. and today, it was gone for the most part. thank you God!
we came home late last night. my son got a mild concussion from a big hit he took during the game. so i got up in the night to check on him. slept in a little this morning. did some cleaning. didn't get started with the 14 mile run until 12:15. but that was just fine since the weather was beautiful!! it was 68 when i started and just nice the whole time. it did warm up, but i was not too hot until mile 12. overall, it was a great run. i took it slow the first half of the run, and kicked it up a bit the second half and figured out how to do the split times for marathon day. i'm tired now but i felt fine during the run. i really cannot wait to get through next week. i can taste that marathon now. :)
