rolling thunder

ate this last night. can u believe this is a whole bag of spinach?
got up early and ran 4 miles thursday. i'm slowly getting used to getting up and out the door as i used to... we'll see how long this lasts! ha!

dragged my oldest son out of bed with a little bribery and hit the greenway at 8am for 10 miles. he ran the whole way with me. we knew it was going to rain but it happened sooner than forecasted. so by mile 5, we could hear thunder rumbling. and by 5.5 we made it to a bridge underpass right when it started to pour. we waited for about fifteen minutes for the storm to let up since the lightning was close. we ran the rest of the way in moderate, to light, to finally no rain. soaked. a little chilled. but that's what it's all about! i tried a GU Roctane from my sampler box today at mile 5 for the first time. i really didn't feel notice anything different with that and the regular GU. but the pineapple flavor was yummy. :)

Nice run! Pineapple does sound like a good flavor! And we should all eat a whole bag of spinach like that every night, you're inspiring me! Crazy the way it cooks down like that. :)
