Brooks Calvacade of Curiosities

the top was closed since they were packing it up...

today was a HOT 6 mile run at the greenway.  it went by fast but man was it HOT!  i stayed hydrated with NUUN - the citrus flavor -my new favorite flavor!

sunday afternoon i went to my beloved running store since the Brooks Cavalcade of Curiosities bus was there for the day.  it was so much fun! the brooks people were so friendly and informative. i climbed the spiral staircase and went to the top of the bus for a free gait analysis on the treadmill. open top bus with a treadmill.  how cool is that!? (the roof of the bus raises and there's a treadmill on the top deck with a flat screen tv to watch your stide.)  it had been 6 years since i had an analysis done so i thought why not do it again. nothing's changed.  i'm still a neutral runner. so i picked up a pair of glycerin's. i wished the store had the blue glass/java color (which looks sooo nice!) but i settled for the light blue. :) i am going to break them in tomorrow on the treadmill.

the nunn rep. was at the store and i raved how i just started using it and am loving it. he gave me two tubes of nunn to try - in the citrus fruit flavor and orange ginger, and a water bottle to boot - which i just love. so cool! i did not know this but he was also the brooks rep for that store. he came up to me when i was in line and handed me a brooks bag for being a "walking billboard"!  talk about making my week!!!! i had on my RUN brooks shirt (last years rainbow one) and pink pacer shorts. i run and live in brooks, actually.  i ♥ those pacer shorts.  they are so comfy and fit me perfectly.
